I'm down. I'm down bad. I might have $2500 left. Fuck life. I have drive. I want to be the best. I want to win. I want to have a lot of money. I will obey bankroll management.

Right now I am playing 12 70 FPP sngs. I might try 24. It's the most efficient conversion of FPP's -> $. I am playing fairly well. Won one. Meh.

I am first out of 44 in a 500 FPP+rebuy to a $320 NL seat. I'll probably win... I'm in great shape anyway. Got lucky with QQ > KK then got paid on JJ and AA, huge! 13,352 chips before the first break, you start with 1000 (2000 with rebuy). Almost 16k after break. ONE TIME BABY.

Final table! 5th out of 6. Gotta outlast two fish. Basically waiting for big pairs, or AK and then open shoving. A short stack busts, I steal with AA and i'm 5th out of 5th with 16k, just past the blinds. My opponents are playing fairly loose. FUCK! Bust AQ vs KJ in 5th. Fuck poker.

Sick downswing. Sick life tilt. Mad multitabling online tournaments tonight in hopes of building up. My goal is to record every major hand. I guess I might as well make a run at the tournament leader board. I'm the scourge of the $4 180 mans baby - the guy who has a 40% ROI at SNGS. I am ready to rock.

I'm in rock mode. Suited connectors, small pairs early on... mostly any unpaired hand looks like garbage to me. I don't really care about difficult situations. I want to crush these idiots with aces. Pretty lame I know, but I feel I played it well. Note board puts four to a straight flush out there.

Then I get AQ and fold because someone raises. Seven tourneys now. Eight. I son'r flop a set with 99. I neglect to call a raise preflop with 55 because of squeeze danger. It didn't get squeezed but I would have missed. And I fold, and I fold.

I manage a couple solid doubles with AK and AA. Win a big pot in razz. Double through AQ with 99 on a 777 flop.

Just got back from a little shopping - food and smokes. Time to play a few low buy in tournies. I really need to stop playing cash games - or at least stick to 12 tabling low stakes cash (.10/.25 nl). G0t a bunch of tourneys running right now and I am playing really well. I am also running really well. Just had AJ > AK and 99 and 66 > JJ AI preflop both times. I'm 6th out of 250 in a $15 man.

Just took a sick beat JJ vs J9 and 87x board all in on flop. Got 40k chips in a $2 6max.

Four tournies left. 3rd out of 43 in a $10 180 man. 61st out of 224 in a $2 6max. 28 out of 33 in a $4 180 man. 51 out of 85 in a $15.


Some 10/20 later I'm down to one tourney - the $15 - and $960 in my stars BR. Life is good. Cash for $50 in that tourney and my stars balance is just over a grand. Holla.

.25/.50 NL session

I 12 tabled .25/.50 for maybe 400-500 hands or something. Maybe fewer. Like 5-10 minutes I guess, 12 tabling. Won around $60. Quit because I was starting to tilt. Gonna go buy smokes I guess. I hit a couple sets, won a $12 pot with K high (I was on straight + flush draw) had aces a few times. Generally played like a rock. Stars roll - $956 so I guess I'm up $600 in the past 24 hours. Holla. Gonna go buy some smokes, maybe play some tourneys when I get back. Maybe not.

Played a little 5/10 limit and 15/30 limit. Small win. Stars balance - $900.

Some more online play

Last night was my first winning session in a while. I won around $400. I am going to play a bunch of < $20 tournaments today. And no turbos! They mess me up. Although I did get 3rd in a turbo last night, holla. There's a $5 rebuy in an hour I'm looking forward to. Anyway I'm just really happy about getting out of this damned down swing. I had a pretty good night last night as well, went out for a few drinks with a friend and then ended up partying for a bit before going to break even at the fair.

My first bust comes in a $2.75 tourney. I get QQ in EMP. EP raises to 60, I make it 200, some retard cold calls, EP pushes, I snap it off and fist pump, and retard folds. He has Ace and King but flops an ace. I do not suck out and it's gg me. That's why we play within our bankroll!

I'm playing pretty solidly. A10 UTG+1 I open muck. It's a tough game, relative to the live games I've been playing lately, but I'm tougher. 99 utg I limp. My thinking here is if I raise and get reraised I have to throw away my hand. By limping in I increase my chance of seeing the flop and stacking someone when I flop a 9. I limp 1010 and JJ in the first few positions as well.

I've got 3 $4 tournies running and a $16 360 man about to begin.

I played the funniest hand last night. 9h4h and I open raise middle position in a live 10/20 game. Just a retarded play. The guy to my left shouts out immediately "I think this is the first hand you've played since you sat down! You've folded everything...". Amazingly everyone folds to the BB! He three bets :( I call.

The flop is 942. So he bets and I raise and the turn is a 10 and he bets and I raise and the river is an ace and he checks and calls and his K10 is no good.

Just doubled up in a $4 tourney. Folds around to the CO who raises I three ball 99 and he calls. I flop an overpair and c-bet 2/3rdsish and he CIB. A powerful move, but I just jam. 88 no good sir. 27th out of 142 now. Not bad.

KK in the $16. Early position I open up for 3x get one call from the CB. I c-bet 100 into 140 on a 952 flop and he gives up the ghost. Small pot but fuck I'll take it. I am playing really well and I hope I stay away from the cash games today. I'm feeling kind of spewy.

Busted in a few. Played a few hands poorly. Two cigarettes left. Found some matches at least. Pokerstars just froze.

Got around $370 online to work with. Doing some .10/.25 super nit style right now.

Up to $520 right now. Mostly 6 handed 10/20 limit. 28th out of 40 in a $11 tourney too, getting short though. Wish I had a lighter! Just doubled up. 5xBB left, Ad8d UTG+1 I push. BB calls with J8s and I hold.

22nd out of 34 with the blinds coming up. 5.6k chips and 400/800 blinds. 75 ante. Come on aces one time! Well I get KK just as well. I push UTG and steal the blinds. Decent. After the blinds I'm at 6k chips. 9d8d in the CO, with 7xBB I push and double through A10 when I turn an 8. Holla. 8th out of 25 with 12k chips. Blinds up to 500/1000.

AQ in the BB, three limpers counting the SB. I push and UTG calls with KQ. 5th out of 17 with 22k.

Final table, 6 out of 9. Played a hand pretty weakly earlier. At 19.5k in chips. A few steals and KK vs A9 later I'm 3rd out of 6th with 47k chips. Busted in 3rd with A5s vs Q8 all in preflop. $235, not bad. $754 now, so up $400 or so? Going to bed.

It's tourney time

I'm on a bit of a down swing lately. Nothing huge. I just need to reclaim my focus. I just need to fold a million hands. Sometimes poker is easy. You just fold losers all day. Sometimes, it's like something in your mind breaks. Anyway, everyone has downswings.

I've got 215 W$ on my stars account, so I'm going to sat. into the 530 event today and play, obv. I am also going to turn some FPP's into cash via 70 FP sats into a $10 tourney. An eventful day ahead of me already! I'm in two sat's, a $58 and a $50+1r1a. I'm just under enough to rebuy once and addon at break, so I'm gonna win some T$ to cover it.

No luck on the FPP tournies, but I'm close to sat. in to the $530. I'm 8th out of 31 in the 1rebuy1addon but a few bucks short of add on $ in my account. I lose a race there KQ vs 1010 but I'm still 10 out of 31 - he was short. 40 out of 107 in the other one. Still have moderate stack sizes so I will be playing fairly nitty. Busted out of both putting the money in good. Sigh.

A little 5/5

So I tried out a new club today. I wanted to play their 1/2, but it wasn't running so I sat in the 5/5 game. I had $630 on. So I buy in full for $500 and quickly lose $250 or so. AK vs 88 all in preflop loses and I get rivered and check behind a couple times. I get 99 vs xx (AQ i think?) all in preflop and turn a set. Then I hit ace high flush vs 10 high flush and KK vs AK flop AK8. And AQ vs AA which hits a straight (rivered it, he checked the turn back lol). And a set of tens against a bluff. The set of tens hand is funny. It's limped in 5 ways and the flop is J107 all spades. Buddy bets $25, I call, guy to my left calls. On the turn, low brick, buddet bets $35, I call, guy to my left raises smallish to like $90 or something. Buddy folds, I call. River is a king, no spade, I check, guy bets like $95.... i hem and haw and ask him to show me one. He shows me the 2c (LOL) and I c/r all in because now I have the nuts. He folds. I also had aces, $25 5 ways when it gets to me, I make it $125. Guy who was the 4th caller preflop calls the $100 raise with Ks9s and check folds the Q74 flop.

Then we start playing omaha. I really don't know how to play. I do ok I guess. Eventually we switch back to Hold'em. I end up $1000 profit, and I get fairly drunk 6-7 beers.

1/2 Live NL

If I win this sat. I'm taking the WCOOP $. And probably playing the $200 6 max event. Although I kind of hate 6 max tourneys. A little. The live 1/2 NL game as awesome. There is one tomorrow as well. Let's see. It started out short handed.

I arrived at 8:00 pm and was predictably the first player there. I talked to the host for a while and then a few new players arrived. We played four handed no rake. I won a decent pot early with QQ on KJ10xx board vs ace high bluff. I raised smallish PF ($6?) and he lead every street pretty strongly. He flopped a set against my KK overpair, played it the same way and won a similar sized pot. I played a pretty rockish game. Stacked AK on A109 board (he had about $100). Won two decent pots with AQ on Q84 board and JJ on 955 board (first guy had Q9, 2nd guy had 910). Not huge pots by any means. Just played pretty solid, folding mostly. I laid down trip aces A5 on a three club board. The caller had better trips and the better had Kings full of Aces. I made a couple light call downs with middle pair and won. I made a pretty bad AK fold preflop. I make it $7, tagfish makes it $14, action player makes it $45 maybe $200 effective and I fold. I was scared of tagfish obv. but he had KQ and also folded. We played some omaha later on. I took some beats. I lent $100 to some guy I had played with a while before. He paid me back before he left at the end of the night. I lent $100 to some other guy - nice fellow - and he is going to pay me on Saturday. Ended up $190 in cash and $290 total. At least $50-60 expenses, but still a solid win.

It's 2:10 am and I've just started my grinding day. I've already busted out of my first tourney, a $30+3 700 man NLHE competition. I had the nuts on the turn - AK on a QJ10x board, and my opponent had J10. We got all the money in and he rivered his boat. That's poker. I'm on a sick heater lately so who cares. I'm in 3 tournies right now, with a bunch more starting very soon; including a $33 deep stack. Those are a lot of fun. I'm in a $36 satelliete to the WCOOP razz event as well. I enjoy razz. I want to play a lot of the WCOOP tournies, but I'll need to make a few grand in between now and then to do so.

I've got a decent chip stack going in a $11 turbo, but busted in a few $11 satellietes to the sunday million (including one hand where AA < AK all in pf). I'm running so-so so far, and playing pretty damn well. I've been battling one guy heads up for a while and he's a total fish. At the moment stars is frozen... which is pretty annoying obviously. It should fix itself soon... I hope.

It's 7:09 am now. I have been playing for five hours now and am up $1500. My stars balance is $2600+ and I cashed out $3300 yesterday. Holla. All of this from a $90 deposit three days ago. Today I have played a wide variety of games, from 50/100 limit to 2/4 NL, to 1/2 NL, to tournaments of all sorts. I am in 4 tournaments currently; one of which, a $10, I doubled up within the first few minutes with 99 vs 88. I am in a $5 rebuy and a $10 PLO tourney as well.

AK iin the $10 tourney. There's an UTG limper and I make it 80 all day with AK. Flop is J102 I c-bet near pot he calls. Turn 8 he checks i check back. River q - i have the nuts - i bet 3/4 pot and he pays off with A10. I tripple up with aces in the Omaha tourney and i'm now 2nd out of 39.

I came in 7th in a 11$ rebuy. I made some key mistakes, but over all played a very solid game. Overplayed jacks, as usual. Solid $1000 cash though. I also won two entries into the WCOOP; a horse and a omaha seat. I'm thinking of playing the Sunday million and am registered in a $109 Hold'em Tournament starting in five minutes.

I am 1000 VPP away from Supernova.

Let's talk strategy. I'm a prety big nit; although lately I have been opening up my game with some creative plays. For example I squeezed AJ right on the bubble with 10x BB vs 3 BB raise + 2 callers - that is, for pure value. That enabled me to get deep.

Not to fear; I didn't lose all my money in a crazy tilt session - although playing 30/60 while close to passing out probably wasn't brilliant - I actually just cashed out $3200. And I made it to supernova. With only a grand in my account I'm going to stick to low buy in tournies for a while and steadily work my way up. I've been playing pretty well so far today; mostly just folding. I am cold.

I've got $750 in W$ as well, that I will probably use to play some WCOOP events but maybe sell. WIth the WCOOP right here I will get a good price. I'm considering using my FPP's to join the sunday million as well, I have enough. Or I could get a nintendo DS. Or an ipod nano. I might get the ipod actually.

Just won a monster pot in the razz tourney tho. I am 1st out of 13 but only top 3 pay. 24 entrants. I've been pushing every hand in this $100,000 freeroll. Not sure why. I guess I want to bust? I just beat AK with 65o. lol. Sarah Palin is McCain's V.P. pick. I feel trapped by these tournaments.

Just folded 835 in razz against first position raise showing a 4? not really sure if it's a good fold or not... my hand is probably marginal at best though. I love razz. I think I'm pretty good at it. Just won a monster pot in the razz tourney with a smooth 8. I'm 1st out of 12 with 5200 chips and a 1400 lead on my opponents. I've been running pretty hot. Need water. I'm at 633 out of 1316 in this $11 30k guarantee. 3645 entrants. I just folded 835 again! This time to an UTG limp and then a raise. Fuck it. The guy had A37, FWIW. 234 holds up and I'm 1st out of 11. 3 spots pay.

The million turbo take down is tomorrow, almost exactly 24 hours from now. What should I do with my W$? Sell them? Play some WCOOP events? I am down to 3 out of 11 after doubling a super shortstack twice with nonsense. Now is no time to choke Zak! Win a donk pot with A96 and i'm back baby! Oh look A45. Win a monster pot when I value raise my jack draw on the 5th street. I 6th street pair a low card but it's hidden and he has all bricks so he folds. 1st out of 10 by a mile. 1st out of 9. I shove k2o in BB against SB raise. We have good stack sizes for resteal. He folded.

Final table at the razz tourney! Entering 1st out of 8. I just won a big pot at the 30k as well with AQs. Someone limped late, SB raised 3x and I pushed. Basically a half double up, so not bad. They both folded.

First out of 7 in this razz tourney. I have 11000 chips 2nd place has 6700. Doing decently in the 30k as well with 12 chips. Blinds are 500/1000 so not a lot of wiggle room. We are on the bubble there. 2nd out of 6 now. 2nd out of 5. Finished 2nd.

It's 5:37 pm now and I just had breakfast. Delicious. Registered for a ton of tourneys, including two $109's. One is a deep stack. Playing pretty well so far. Busted in a $4 180 man with KK vs JJ vs AQ (river J). My sharkscope shows ROI of 40%? My OPR says 35%?!?! pretty awesome. UTG raises 4x in a $4 180 I fold AQ. He had queens. UTG opens to 5x first blind level, I shove UTG+1 with queens. UTG+2 calls, everyone folds and I hold up against his 99. lol.

Running sick hot in a $33r 1st out of 137. aces just got cracked, still in first. he had KJ flop Kxx runner runnered straight bastard! Boat cracked in $20 by 2 outer. Thats what I get for slowplaying lol ^^ Eventually lost that tourney racing for top chip stack with 99 vs AQ. The dynamics of it - I had just bluff reraised him preflop an orbit ago - made it mandatory to get the chips in, and I'm playing to win not to cash anyway. I'm busto on stars, but $6500 cashed out. Gonna play the last 4k FPPs.

So I've got $358.65 in my stars account and it's all on the table in a 2/4 NL game. There's this one guy there, his name is 'hugedonk10' and by all accounts he appears to be a huge donk. He is playing a lot of hands preflop and seems fairly loose both pre and postflop. Maybe it's some sort of great level. I open AQ for 3x UTG and get minreraised. There's a cold caller and I take the flop. I'm getting decent odds on my gutshot on the K104 flop but I decline to gamble. Down to 334.65.

kamasias - seems loose passive?
sharkcards - half stack, no idea

kamasias and shakecards limp, so i limp the button with Ah6h.

Flop is A104 and I peel a small bet? Turn is an 8 and I fold to a half pot bet? Felt pretty weak.
kamasias limps, huge donk raises to 16, I call with AhJh? kamasias calls. I fold to a half pot bet on Q22 flop. Down to $300. Huge donk seems to be positionally aware.

Shakecards seems sorta donkish. Open limped button. Seems like a pretty awesome table; gonna wait for a big pair and try to double. zlathinio999 seems sort of over aggro? Not sure though. Shake cards doubles through him with JJ vs As10s. zlathinio bet the all undercards flop, then bet the turn into two callers when he picked up a flush draw. He bet smallish and shakecards raised him all in - with a little over $100 to call and $300 to win he called and missed; then shakecards left next hand, lol. hugedonk is doing a fair amount of e.p. limping and limp calling.

A10o, 5 handed utg I raise it up. Huge donk calls and the flop comes A56 with two diamonds. I bet $20 he calls. Turn 2 of clubs, I lead big, almost full pot? $54. He folds. His flop calling range is really huge... any pair, any ace, any flush draw, any open ended maybe any gutshot? Maybe undercards (but probably not). Not sure how I react to check raise - probably fold, he doesn't seem like the type to get too out of line in that spot. I suspect he doesn't do a ton of bluffing, but I can't confirm that yet. $320.65 wooo!

BTW - I got this money in my stars account by depositing $60 and playing a bunch of tournies. Grabbed 2nd in a $4 180 man (woulda cashed in a $20 turbo but AA < 94 right on the bubble, all in pf obv). Then I hit up some 5/10 and 10/20 short handed and ran fairly well. Finished it off 12 tabling .10/.25 where I posted a modest (under 1 buy in win).

Fairly huge pot.

kamasias limps utg, huge donk over limps, zlathinio minraises, kadi100 calls, kamasias calls, HD makes it $22 more to $30 total which is called by zlathinio and kamasias. zalthinion donks $16 on a 976 flop, which is called in two places. on the J turn he bets $40 which is called by only huge donk. on the 10d river he bets $80, huge donk calls and his AJ is lesser than zaltinions 9s8s (turned flush draw fwiw).

huge donk has quieted down (read folded) a bit since that hand.

kamasias has a $800 stack which he got by calling down huge donks tripple barrel with top pair mid kicker (donk had AJ).

Limp UTG, tag raises decently, I call. FLop J22 check check. Turn J I bet decently, he calls. River 5, check, check AQ no good sir. kam just 3 bet pf. watchout! tiny reraise too, I'm thinking AA. but from the way he is betting KK more likely K7JQ board 3 hearts.

Turn pot is $100 Zal bets $56 kam shoves, zal calls. Kam had KQ, zal had 109 l o l . No river for Kam (flush draw too).

Kam then tilts off to tags 1010 (i had AK too bad he didn't reraise me PF cause I would have rivered him) and it's time to get out once the blinds hit again.

Down $20 for the session, up $300 for the day. Not bad.
